Travel Grants for UF Faculty
The UF Center for European Studies (CES) announces a competition for Faculty Travel Grants. The CES will award multiple grants up of to $3,000 each to assist UF faculty with travel to Europe in summer 2017 to pursue research, course development, course enhancement, or to present work at a scholarly conference or workshop. These grants are open to all UF faculty regardless of discipline or rank. The subject of the research or talk must be related to Europe or European Studies.
Priority will be given to junior faculty members and proposals from faculty in non-traditional fields and the professional schools. The CES requests that applicants look for matching funds from their department, college, and external sources.
Proposals should include:
- A description of the purpose of the proposed trip (1-2 pages)
- A detailed budget that includes estimates of all travel costs
- A current CV of the applicant (abbreviated CVs encouraged)
- A copy of the invitation or acceptance letter (where appropriate)
Applications should be submitted to the CES main office in 3324 Turlington Hall, PO Box 117342, or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, by 5:00pm on Monday, March 20, 2017.
