Welcome to the website of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence at the University of Florida. The University of Florida is the first American institution to receive funding from the European Union to establish a Jean Monnet Center of Excellence on campus.

The Center, named after one of the most influential supporters of European integration throughout most of the 20th Century, is entirely dedicated to EU topics and supports an annual visiting scholar program, additional specific classes, and a yearly workshop. It is housed within the Center for European Studies.

People

The Jean Monnet Center of Excellence (JMCE) at the Center for European Studies is supported by faculty, affiliate faculty who support the JMCE courses and workshops, and visiting scholars who lead the specialized JMCE courses and participate at the workshops.
