Andrew Jose

Andrew Jose is a doctoral student pursuing a PhD. in Political Science at the University of Florida. Andrew is majoring in Comparative Politics and minoring in Political Theory. His research interests include fascism in history and in the present, public choice theory, and various forms of contentious and coercive politics, such as statebuilding, war, insurgency, social movements, and terrorism.

Before his academic career, Andrew was a freelance journalist based in Doha, Qatar, reporting for The Daily Caller, Western Journal, Jewish News Syndicate, Stacker, and Airways Magazine. He received his Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University, with a concentration in United States National Security. He received his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where he majored in International Politics with a concentration in security studies. Prior to his academic career, Andrew had also served as a Research Assistant at the Capital Research Center in Washington DC.
