Center for European Studies

Asli Baysal joined the Center for European Studies, University of Florida as a Lecturer in European Studies in Fall 2019. She received her doctoral degree in Summer 2019 from University of Florida in Political Science and her dissertation research focuses on democratization in the history of European integration. She is originally from Izmir, Turkey where she received two bachelor degrees in “International Relations and European Union” and “International Trade and Finance” (Izmir University of Economics, 2007). She also holds two master’s degrees in Political Science (Sabanci University 2009, University of Florida, 2013). She offers courses on Europe, European Union, Turkey and Comparative Politics.
