Film Screening: “The Return of Nathan Becker”

Join us at the Harn Museum, November 12th at 6pm, for a film screening of “The Return of Nathan Becker,” the only Russian-Yiddish talkie produced in the Soviet Union. Starring Solomon Mikhoels, “The Return of Nathan Becker” tells the story of an American Jewish bricklayer who returns to the Soviet Union with an African American friend.

Filmed in 1932 in Russian and Yiddish with English subtitles. Remastered by the National Center for Jewish Film.
