Summary
This presentation focuses on the urban farming movement in Eastern Europe/Lithuania as an entry point for discussing the politics and practice of sustainability in the EU, particularly in relation to food self-provisioning, climate change, and civic engagement. It also considers regional differences and inequalities across the EU as well as the role of gender and generational divides in the EU’s sustainability politics.
