Resources
As a Title VI National Resource Center, the Center for European Studies fosters global awareness and cross-cultural activities through a wide range of European-focused talks, workshops, film screenings, school presentations, teacher trainings, and much more. Our community outreach extends to K-12 students and teachers, UF faculty and students, local and regional businesses, state and national government, the media, and the wider Gainesville community.

Campus
CES serves as a university resources and central hub for Europe-related activities and events on campus. The Center regularly hosts lectures and workshops for faculty to network with colleagues in the field, brown bag lunches and symposium for graduate students to present research, and extracurricular events and tabling for undergraduate students to learn about Europe-related opportunities on campus.
K-12
CES actively engage with K-12 teachers and students to provide classroom resources and training in European Studies. The Center organizes classroom visits, training workshops and seminars for teachers, the annual Language Teacher Summer Institute, and our Educators in Residence program.
Business
The Center for European Studies is always expanding our contacts and resources for the business community. CES serves as a hub for local and regional businesses on European-related policies, markets, and current events. CES also works with state and national government to provide resources for topics including the European Union, Florida-Europe economic ties, and language training.
Community
The Center for European Studies provides a wide range of community events that highlight European culture, history, and current events. Our schedule of events includes film screenings, ILR talks at Oak Hammock, booths at local festivals, and our flagship event, Viva Europe, an annual celebration of European culture.
All UF campus activities are open to the Gainesville community.
