CES provides $500 competitive awards for K-12 educators to develop high-quality, European related lesson plans and modules to be shared and published on the CES website.
Eligibility:
- Current K-12 educator in a U.S. classroom*
- Module / lesson plan must not have been submitted as part of another CES program, such as Educators in Residence, Language Teacher Summer Institute, etc.
- The European geographic region** must be featured in at least 50% of the content
- The lesson plan must be at least 50% within the modern era***

Process:
- Submit the form below
- Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis
- If your submission is accepted, you must complete the UF required payment documentation
- Once payment is complete, your submission will be placed on the CES website
* Honoraria for foreign nationals are reviewed for eligibility due to visa type.
** CES defines the European geographic region as the 46 countries (including Turkey) on the European continent.
*** CES defines the modern era as 1850 – today
