This presentation is about how Turkish-German soccer players experience and attribute significance to playing for national teams. By focusing on second-generation players such as Mesut Ozil and Nuri Sahin, it offers a prism through which to reconsider important aspects of modern Europe, including ethnicity, identity, and minority.
